Regions Bistro Celebrates Comfort Foods and Regional Fare
Phoenix, AZ (February 16, 2009) - With the numbers of native Arizonans
relatively few and far between, it is an everyday occurrence to meet neighbors,
new contacts and co-workers from about every other state in the country;
especially those from chillier locales like the Midwest and Northeast. As much as
Arizona is a transient state, the new Regions Bistro & Bar honors and celebrates
the ever present mix of residents, whether full- or part-time.
Slated to open in late February and early March, Regions will reside in two
bustling locations -one at the Shops at 94 Hundred Shea retail center in North
Scottsdale, the other on the southwest corner of Mill Avenue and 6th Street in
Tempe. Regions will appeal to a broad audience seeking a quality dining
experience at a good value, with an emphasis on highly personalized service.
Open daily for lunch and dinner, the mid-upscale concept will feature an all day
menu filled with American comfort food, satisfying small plates, beautiful salads
and an inventive cocktail list. Each month a new regional menu will feature
cuisine and complementing libation from another section of the country, from the
Mid-Atlantic and Pacific Northwest to the Rocky Mountains and Deep South.
Both Regions' locations are of ample size, each holding approximately 130, and
will feature roomy lounge areas, patio dining, natural, organic accents and
décor. North Scottsdale holds two separated private dining vignettes for parties
from 8 to 24, which can converted to hold one large party; Tempe?s lounge will
also hold a VIP area that can be reserved for intimate gatherings.
Happy hour takes place 7 days a week from 2 - 6pm with special prices on
cocktails, small plates, wines by the glass and beer.
Regions Bistro & Bar will be open daily from 11am ? 2pm for lunch, and from 5
- 10pm for dinner during the week and until 11pm on the weekend. The bar
menu will be available from 2 - 5pm.
