Restaurant Description Some traditions only get better. Village Tavern, the neighborhood gathering place for all occasions, serving great food, attentive service at an unbelievable value. We take simplicity to the next level. This concept has achieved high standards in our upscale casual dining experience. The first Village Tavern was established in 1984, near Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem. The Village Tavern now operates eight, upscale casual dining restaurants in four locations in North Carolina including Winston-Salem (2), Greensboro and Charlotte; Atlanta, GA; Denver, CO; Birmingham, AL; and Scottsdale, AZ. The Village Tavern concept has three simple missions: To be the new standard of excellence for our guests by providing great food, great service, great value, everyday, in a sparkling clean, comfortable restaurant.
